Shock Hazard To avoid electrical shock or property damage, disconnect power before installing or servicing equipment. Lowering the control board exposes the technician to 240 VAC electricity inside the fryer. |
-
Remove power from fryer.
-
Remove the control panel.
-
Disconnect the coil wires from secondary contactor.
-
Enter Tech Mode.
-
Navigate to T-16 Outputs and test for 24V to the mercury contactor.
-
Check transformer output voltage.
-
Check the safety circuits to ensure 24V passes through each of the safety circuits.
-
Remove the control board.
-
Remove a working control board from another OFE 32X fryer and connect to this fryer.
-
If voltage is sent to the secondary contactor and the unit heats, the control panel is defective. Replace the control panel.
-
If there is no voltage to the secondary contactor, the I/O board is defective. Replace the I/O board.
