Purging Oil Lines

Before filling each of the vats with frying oil for the first time, and to purge old oil from the oil lines, do the following.

Quick navigation: Settings > Oil & Filter > Fill Vat > JIB

  1. Tap the Settings Menu icon. Settings display.

  2. Tap Oil & Filter. The Oil & Filter menu displays.

  3. Tap Fill Vat. The Fill Vat menu displays.

  4. Tap JIB. The Fill from JIB menu displays.

  5. Tap Fill and hold until clean oil begins to fill vat. Mineral oil and water in the lines will purge into the vat.

    6. IMPORTANT: DO NOT fill vat. Once clean oil begins to fill vat, stop.

  6. Tap Done. Control exits to Preheat menu.

  7. Wipe out the vat thoroughly and remove all mineral oil and water.
