Cleaning the FDS

Only perform this procedure when the unit is cool or severe burns may result.

NOTICE -

To avoid equipment damage, do not clean stainless steel with abrasive tools, abrasive cleaners or corrosive chemicals.

NOTICE -

To avoid component damage, do not use pressurized water or a steam cleaner to clean unit.

  1. Turn off all controls and disconnect electrical supply to the unit.

  2. Remove grid insert.

    FDS 100 and 200 FDS 210
  3. Remove drip pan from unit and take to a sink.

  4. Clean drip pan and grid insert thoroughly.

  5. Clean the exterior with a cloth, soap and water.

  6. Thoroughly dry the grid insert and drip pan, then place them back into the unit.
