Installing the Shuttle Hook on FS 100 and 200

Overview

Your stainless steel shuttle hook is designed to hold your FS 100 or FS 200 Shortening Shuttle upright against a wall, preventing it from being knocked over. It helps you to save valuable floor space and thereby keeps your operation running safely and efficiently.

Procedure

To avoid burns, always wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when disposing of oil. Make sure the Shortening Shuttle is empty before hanging it on the shuttle hook.

The shuttle hook is not intended to lift a Shortening Shuttle off the floor; the shuttle hook is only intended to hold it against a wall to prevent it from being knocked over.

1. Do one of the following:

   • For FS 100 shuttles, mark the wall 49 1/16" (124.6 cm) above the floor.

   • For FS 200 shuttles, mark the wall 56 1/16" (142.4 cm) above the floor.

2. Align the top of the shuttle hook with the mark.

3. Attach the hook to the wall with hardware appropriate for your type of wall.
