Replacing the Mandrel

To avoid electrical shock or property damage, move the power switch to OFF and disconnect power.

Remove all equipment from top of unit.
Remove top by lifting from unit.
Remove two screws from cover plate assembly and slide assembly out towards the sifter basket.
Using a 1/2" wrench, loosen hex nuts on the adjustable foot, move motor, and loosen belt. Remove belt.
Using a 5/16" Allen wrench, remove set screw from driven pulley and remove pulley.
Turn mandrel shaft until the eccentric and rod end bearing are accessible.
Remove shoulder screw and washers and allow rod end bearing and push rod assembly to fall free.
Remove four bolts holding mandrel to mounting bracket and remove.
Remove eccentric and eccentric spacer by moving eccentric clockwise.

NOTICE -

Move the eccentric clockwise or threads of eccentric could be damaged.
