Replacing the Autolift Actuator (Motor)

To avoid electrical shock or property damage, move the power switch to OFF and disconnect power.

  1. Remove electrical power supplied to the unit.

  2. Remove basket and knock pin from basket hanger.

  3. Remove rear cover.

  4. Disconnect actuator connector.

  5. Remove female connector form plate.

  6. Use a 7/16 in. socket to remove the 4 nuts securing the support plate. Note that 2 nuts are behind the insulation.

  7. Remove the 2 top screws securing the support plate and remove the plate from the unit.

  8. Use a 15 torx driver, remove the 2 torx screws form the back shroud and pull the actuator from the unit.

  9. Install new actuator.
