CFE-5XX Replacing Filter Pan Sensor

Follow these instructions to replace a faulty filter pan sensor on the CFE 5XX open fryer.

Fryer and components may still be hot if fryer has been filtering.

1. Remove hot oil from the fryer.

2. Turn the power switch off.

3. Ensure fryer is cool to the touch before moving.

4. Pull out the fryer and unplug from the power source.

5. Access the back of the fryer.



6. Using a 7/16 inch socket or wrench, remove the three nuts (Qty. 4 on a 3 well) holding the sensor bracket to the frame.



7. Lift bracket and switch assembly out.

8. Using a 1/4 inch socket or wrench, remove the 2 nuts securing faulty switch.

9. Unplug switch and remove.

10. Working in reverse, complete steps to return fryer to service.
