Replacing the High Limit
3/8” socket
crosshead screwdriver

Disconnect the electrical supply to the cabinet.
Remove the drawer from the appropriate liner.

Using a 3/8” socket, remove the four acorn nuts securing the front of the bracket.

Using a crosshead screwdriver, remove the six screws securing the bracket and remove the bracket.

Using a crosshead screwdriver, remove the two screws securing the plate to the back of the liner.
Pull the element out towards you until the terminals are exposed.
Label and pull the wires off of the terminals and high limit remove element from the unit.
Once the wires have been removed from the high limit, check for continuity across the terminals. The circuit should be closed if the high limit is good, if it shows open, continue on to step 9 and replace high limit.

Using a 5/16” socket, remove the nuts securing the high limit and remove the high limit from the unit.
Install new high limit in reverse order.
