Control Setup Instructions

Follow the instructions below to ensure proper set up of the fryer control settings. Refer to Operating Components for more information on the controls and indicators.

  1. Press Power buttons on lower left or lower right to turn on the Control.

  2. Enter setup code 1, 2, 3, 4 using the number buttons.

  3. Press the left or right F buttons to scroll through the options for each setting. When the desired option displays, press the Info button to save and proceed to the next setting.

    Important: Be sure to save after each entry by pressing the Info button.

    Below are the settings:

    • Language

    • Zone

    • Temp Format (temperature format)

    • Time Format - If a 12 hour time format is selected, select AM or PM by pressing the left or right F buttons. Then, use the Product buttons to enter the correct time.

    • Date Format - After selecting the format, use the Product buttons to enter the desired date.

  4. Note: If you type an incorrect number, do not exit. Keep typing to display the correct number.

    • Fryer Type

    • Vat Type

    • Bulk Oil Dispose - Only select this option if the unit is equipped.

    • Bulk Oil Supply - Only select this option if the unit is equipped.

    • Daylight Savings Time region

    • Oil Quality Enabled - This option should always be set to NO.

  5. Ensure TPM MAX is set to 24%. This is the default setting. Press Info button to save and proceed.

  6. Ensure TPM Warn is set to 20%. This is the default setting. Press Info button to save and proceed.

  7. The Setup Complete message displays and the Control shows the OFF screen. The Unit is ready for operation and can be turned on.
