Adjusting the Lid Magnet Plate

With the carrier and racks installed on the lid, the lid should stay in contact with the vat rim when the lid is lowered. The user will then be able to lock the lid in place. If the lid has a tendency to rise before getting the lid locked, the magnet plate may need adjusted. Follow these steps to adjust the magnet plate:

1. Remove the six nuts securing the back shroud and remove back shroud.

2. Loosen the bottom nut under the plate and rotate both nuts for several turns. Then, lower the lid again and observe if the lid remains down. If it does not, repeat procedure.

3. Tighten lower nut against the other nut.

4. Install back shroud with six nuts.
