Replacing the Water Pan Heater

To avoid electrical shock or property damage, move the power switch to OFF and disconnect power.

Remove electrical power supplied to the cabinet.
Remove the heater cover plates.
Remove the heater wires from the wire nuts. Check across the wires of each heater with an ohmmeter. Each heater should have a reading of 42 ohms for 208 volts and 52 ohms for 230 volts. If a heater checks defective, replace it by continuing with this procedures.
Using pliers or vise grips, pull the heater from the unit.
Install the new heater in reverse order.
Turn on the power supply at the breaker box.
