Manually Cycling the Solenoid

Overview

Complete this procedure to break up the debris clogging the solenoid valve.

Field Troubleshooting

1. Press and hold the P button for about 6 seconds to enter Tech Mode.

   Level 2 will display.

2. Select the right arrow “P” or left arrow “I” to navigate to “Tech” on the left screen.

3. Using the product buttons enter the code 11221122.

4. Select the right arrow “P” or left arrow “I” to navigate to T21 “Pumps and Valves”.

   The screen should display "DcRc".

5. Use the up and down arrows “F” in the middle of the left and right buttons and navigate to Pump and Valves.

6. Press the illuminated “7” button.

   On the screen the “c” changes to “o”. C means closed and O means open.

7. Toggle this a few times, and you should be able to hear the solenoid valve opening and closing.

   Sometimes it will sound weak or stuck. The more you toggle the clearer and louder it will sound because you are breaking up debris around that valve.
