Troubleshooting the E-41S System Set Lost Error Code

The E-41S system data loss error occurs when there is an internal loss of system settings. If this error is detected, the system settings are reset to their default values. Reflash Software

Prepare USB with latest software release. Please see the software update instructions to prepare a USB properly.

Enter the main menu by pressing and holding the program button for 3 seconds.

Choose option #3, USB Data.

Choose option #4, Reflash Software.

Plug in the USB drive containing the software update.

Select the software file you want to load.

Once the update is complete, exit the menu and remove the USB.
