Replacing the Filter Valve
Filter Valve Description
The filter valve is 3/8 in. two-way stainless steel ball valve. If this valve should develop leaks the entire valve must be replaced.
Removal of Filter Valve

To avoid severe burns, use PPE when using filter rinse hose. |
The filter rinse hose and fitting will be hot. Use protective gloves or cloth when following this procedure or severe burns could result.

Drain the oil from vat.

Remove the filter pan from the fryer.

Remove the cotter pin, handle and extension rod.

Remove the pipe from between the filter pump and valve.
-
Use an adjustable wrench and remove the valve.

Replace the valve and reassemble.
