Replacing the Light Socket
Required tools
3/8” socket
crosshead screwdriver

To avoid electrical shock or property damage, disconnect power before installing or servicing equipment. A qualified technician must perform the service procedures. |

Raise canopy glass and remove light bulb.

Using 3/8” socket, remove the 2 keps nuts securing the light socket assembly.

Pull socket assembly from studs.

Using a crosshead screwdriver, remove the wires from the socket.

Squeeze the brackets and pull socket from housing.
-
Install new socket in reverse order.
