Troubleshooting a Low Battery or Battery Failure

Ensure the following parts are on-hand when troubleshooting to assure a first time fix.

Purchase battery locally – BR1225, 3V.
Refer to UHC 600 Universal Holding Cabinet for part numbers.
Overview
After a power loss or reset by power switch, if the battery is low or bad the following could occur:

Displaying incorrect date
-
Displaying incorrect time
-
Displaying incorrect time zone
-
Loss of timers
-
Incorrect timers

To avoid electrical shock or property damage, disconnect power before installing or servicing equipment. A qualified technician must perform the service procedures. |

Disconnect unit from power supply.

Remove top cap from unit.
-
Access Display with faulty battery and replace, making sure the positive (+) side is facing outward.
