Replacing the Blower Motor

3/8 inch nut driver
The blower motor assembly induces the draft for the burners. If the blower motor fails, the air switch will faile to close, causing "E-20B" error code in the display.

To avoid electrical shock or property damage, move the power switch to OFF and disconnect power. |

Remove electrical power supplied to the unit.

Remove screws securing the rear cover to the unit.

Remove the wire cover from the blower motor housing.
-
Remove wire nuts connecting blower motor wires to wires in conduit.
-
Loosen conduit from blower motor.
-
Remove screws connecting flue to blower.
-
Use 3/8 in. nut driver to remove nuts securing blower to the unit.
-
Pull blower from unit.
-
Install new blower.
