High Limit Reset
This high temperature limit control is a safety, manual reset control, which senses the temperature of the oil. If the oil temperature exceeds 425° F (218° C), this switch opens and shuts off the heat to the vat. When the temperature of the oil drops to a safe operation limit, the control must be manually reset by pressing the reset button.
A red reset button is located under the control panel, in the front of the gas fryer.
The reset button on electric fryers is located in a hole in the right element hinge. Use a small screwdriver to press the reset button.
Once the reset button is pressed, heat is then supplied to the vat.
