Replacing the Ignition Module

screwdriver
3/8 inch socket
During normal operation, the ignition modules send 24 volts to the ignitors and gas valve. If a module does not sense a pilot flame, the module starts the ignition process again. If a pilot light goes out for longer than 10 seconds, or it goes out 3 times within 10 seconds, the module keeps the 24 volts from reaching the gas valve. The burners will shut down.
