Replacing the JIB Pump Motor

Disconnect power from the fryer.

Remove the three screws below the front access cover and lower (this is the cover below the display boards). Locate the OMS board behind control #2 on two and three vat units and behind control #3 on four vat units.

Disconnect the wire harness from connector P9 at the OMS board. Follow the harness from P9 to the JIB pump and cut all wire ties.

From the rear of the fryer, pull the blue quick disconnect tab out from both the inlet and outlet side of the JIB pump.

Pull out both the inlet and outlet fittings and wipe up excess oil with towel.

Remove two 7/16 inch nuts from mounting plate at bottom of JIB pump motor.

Remove JIB pump motor.

Install new JIB pump motor with two 7/16 inch nuts.

Connect inlet and outlet fittings and secure by pressing in on blue disconnect tabs until they snap into place.

Route wiring harness, plug into the OMS board and secure with zip ties.

Secure access panel to the closed position with three cross head screws.

Restore power to unit.

Test new JIB pump motor by:

1. Tap the menu icon in the lower left corner of the display to open the settings menu.

2. Tap Oil & Filter.

3. Tap Fill Vat.

4. Tap JIB.

5. Tap and hold FILL for several seconds to fill the vat from the JIB.

Once completed, tap DONE to exit.
