Troubleshooting a Broken Shaft Adapter Pin

Does the shaft adapter pin keep breaking?

This is usually caused by uneven loading of the rotisserie. If the load is not balanced across multiple baskets, when the heaviest basket rotates over the top center it thrusts forward and leads to damage to the shaft.

Shock Hazard

To avoid electrical shock or property damage, disconnect power before installing or servicing equipment. Lowering the control board exposes the technician to 240 VAC electricity inside the fryer.

  1. Ensure the pin is OEM part coiled pin PN01-030.

  2. If the part is correct and continues to break, the shaft on the drive motor has been compromised. Replace the complete drive motor assembly (includes drive motor, coiled pin, and new shaft adapter).
