SCR Drip Shield Instructions

The Drip Shield is used between stacked SCRs, or a SCR on a display.

To avoid electrical shock or property damage, move the power switch to OFF and disconnect power. |

Remove the side panels of both units.

Remove the screws from the top of the bottom display, or rotisserie.

Drill out the holes using a 7/16 in. bit.

Place the shield on top of the bottom unit with the "lip", or flange of the shield, pointed down and line up the mounting holes.

Carefully lift the top unit and place it on top of the shield.

Ensure to line up the mounting holes.

On the control side of units insert two 1/4 - 20 x 1 1/4 in. hex head screws up through the top of the bottom unit.

Thread them into the nutserts in the bottom of the top unit.

On the non-control side of the unit drop the two 10-32 x 1 1/2 in. allen head cap screws into the top of the nutserts in the bottom of the top unit.

Thread the weldnuts onto the screws from inside the bottom unit and tighten.

Place silicon caulking on the four nutserts.
-
Replace side panels and unit is now ready for operation.
