Replacing the Filter Pump Motor Seal

To avoid electrical shock or property damage, move the power switch to OFF and disconnect power.

The filter pump and filter motor must be seperated for this procedure, see Replacing the Filter Pump Motor. The oil seals prevent oil from migrating into the motor assembly, which can damage the motor. With the new filter motor on a flat sturdy work surface, using seal kit 17476, install the pump seal components on to the new filter pump motor as shown.
