Troubleshooting Slow Refill No Detect Error on OXE 100

Overview

The Slow Refill No Detect error displays when the level probe at the top of the vat has not detected a 15 deg (default setting) temperature rise during an Automix/Quick Filter/Polish within a certain amount of time.

Procedures

Cause

Low oil level not reaching the level probe when filling back up.

Troubleshooting

If the oil level is consistently low throughout the day, FC-22 Forced ATO after X cook drops can be changed. The default setting is 3 but can be changed to 2 or even after every cook drop. This would allow the unit more chances to top off throughout the day to better maintain the oil level.

Cause

Faulty Level probe (If this is the case, should see problems elsewhere)

Troubleshooting

Check Resistance on level probe to make sure within spec.

Cause

Dirty or carboned up level probe/temp probe

Troubleshooting

Ensure level probe is clean from carbon build up and debris.

Cause

ATO system not working properly (clog in line, o-rings, pump not working, tank empty)

Troubleshooting

Make sure ATO system is working properly:

  • Check O-rings are not damaged

  • Check Pump has suction

  • Check the Top off tank is full

  • Go to filter menu and select option #6 Add New Oil, to check ATO system.

Cause

Clogged/restricted filter pad and or plumbing system.

Troubleshooting

Change filter pad and clean filter pan.
