To avoid electrical shock or property damage, move the power switch to OFF and disconnect power. |

Use a crosstip head screwdriver to remove the lid by removing the 2 screws located at the back of the lid.

Pull up on rear of lid cover and pry the front of the lid cover toward front of fryer to remove.

Move linkage shaft handle assemlby to rear of lid, this will allow access to the lid interlock pin on the front of the cam bar.

Use a snap-ring tool to remove one snap ring.

Push interlock pin out and discard.

Apply spindle lube grease to underside of new interlock latch pivot pin and grip length.

Apply grease to holes on linkage shaft handle assembly.

Insert pin into linkage shaft handle assembly with head on the right side, thread on the left.

Install locknut on threads and tighten until nut bottoms out on grip length, tighten securely. Shaft and nut must still spin freely on linkage shaft handle assembly.

Install cotter pin into hole of pin.

Bend tabs securely around cotter pin.

Replace lid cover and rear screws and return fryer to operation.
