Wait for the selector valve to cool before servicing.

From rear of fryer, disconnect the selector valve motor wiring harness connector.

Remove selector valve motor assembly by loosening three (3) set screws with a flat blade screwdriver.

Using the two valve spool dots as an indicator, ensure selector valve is aligned to home port #1 if needed by using a screwdriver shaft and rotating the valve spool keyway.

Using the same wiring harness that you unplug in step 3, plug into the new selector valve motor.

Reconnect power to the unit and turn on the fryer.

Using the Control, force the selector valve motor encoder to port 1 by performing the following steps:

In the
tap Service. -
When prompted, enter passcode 1122.

Tap Filter System.

Tap the arrow button next to the Selector Valve at the top right corner.

Select Port 1 and press the Play button to engage the Selector Valve Motor.

Press the Stop button after the Selector Valve motor has found Port 1 and it is ready to install onto the valve.

Turn the power switch to -OFF-, and then unplug the fryer from power.

Assemble new selector valve motor to valve body and secure with existing flat blade set screws.
NOTE: Motor housing will align with valve body screw holes one orientation only.

Reconnect power to the unit and turn on the fryer.

Follow the Selector Valve Performance Check Troubleshooting section.

Test filtration.
