Direct-Connect Retrofit Instructions (For use on fryers after SN: 290-BE0401001 & 591- LG014JC)

Adjustable wrench
Crosstip head screwdriver
Electric drill with crosstip bit
Tape measure
Pipe thread sealant
Kit number

Use a crosstip head screwdriver to remove left side panel and rear panel from fryer.

Use an adjustable wrench to loosen the side and front fittings to the pump return line.

Fasten the short and long tube assemblies onto the diverter valve assembly.
-
Tighten the nuts with the adjustable wrench.
-
Install the diverter assembly onto the fryer.
-
Tighten the nuts with the adjustable wrench.
-
Loosen the filter motor mounting bolts, if necessary.

Fasten the direct-connect tube assembly onto elbow of diverter valve assembly.
-
Tighten with the adjustable wrench.

Use the self-drilling screws supplied in the kit to mount the direct-connect tube assembly bracket to the rear frame
-
Fasten the elbow and flexible gas line fitting onto the direct-connect tube assembly.

Apply pipe sealant to threads of hose-side of elbow.
-
Tighten with the adjustable wrench.
-
Reinstall the side and rear panels, and fryer is now ready for use.
