Overview
The PXE 100 lid can come out of alignment. An out of alignment lid has one side of the lid resting higher than another side of the lid.
Procedure
-
Close and lock the lid.
-
Remove the back panel.
-
Remove the weights from the weight carrier and bolt weight carrier to frame.

-
Identify the eight bolts (4 on each side of the lid) that attach the hook arm.
-
Loosen all eight bolts and push down the front weight arms to realign the carrier.
Placing a lot of weight on top will force the lid to sit fully down in the correct position.
-
Replace the split ring washer for each bolt.
- Reverse steps 1-3.
When the lid is flush with the vat, tighten each bolt.
Tightening the bolts all at once will put the lid out of alignment.
