1/4 in. Hex drive
Crosstip head screwdriver
Pipe thread sealant
Estimated Time
30 Minutes

Ensure the proper materials are ready to do the procedure.

Remove assembly of 1/4 in. siphon tube, ball valve, and pressure gauge from material packaging.

Use a 1/4 in. hex drive to remove 1/4 in. NPT hex plug from coupling inside of rear shroud top cover.

Apply pipe thread sealant on exposed pipe threads of siphon tube.

Insert into rear shroud top cover and align to coupling.

Tighten into coupling until a tight seal. Ensure gauge is facing toward front of unit and valve opens towards the front of unit.
