The transformer reduces the voltage down to accommodate those components with low voltage.

To avoid electrical shock or property damage, move the power switch to OFF and disconnect power. |

Remove the electrical power supplied to the unit.

Remove the control panel.

Remove the two (2) screws securing the transformer to the unit and remove transformer.
Mark wires before removal to insure new transformer is wired correctly.

Remove the wires from transformer.
-
Replace with new transformer and install in reverse order.
