PFG 690 and 692 KFC Annual Inspection Certification

Overview

How can a service technician be certified to perform annual inspections on Henny Penny fryers at KFC?

Procedure

The certification process for anyone performing an inspection for a Henny Penny KFC pressure fryer is as follows:

The service technician must pass Henny Penny’s Cyber Café 24/7 online course once every three (3) years.

  • If the technician has never passed the course before and does not work for a Henny Penny distributor, then use self-sign-up link: https://traininghennypenny.litmos.com/self-signup/ and use the corresponding sign-up code depending on location and/or language:

    Course Group Sign-up Code
Annual Inspection English - US Only 4400
Annual Inspection English - Global 2000
    Annual Inspection Spanish 2000es
    Annual Inspection French 2000fr
    Annual Inspection German 2000de

    Annual Inspection Polish

    2000pl

    Annual Inspection Japanese

    2000ja
    Annual Inspection Russian 2000ru
  • If the technician has passed the course before, but it’s been more than three years ago, then login here: https://traininghennypenny.litmos.com/account/login/ .

  • If the technician has passed the course before and it’s been less than three years ago, they are compliant and able to continue use the YUM! Mobile Form app.

  • If the technician works for a Henny Penny distributor, then login to Cyber Café to take the course. https://traininghennypenny.litmos.com/account/login/ . If the distributor technician has never logged in before, techtraining@hennypenny.com can provide a specific distributor code.

Additional Procedure for the U.S. Only

  1. During the Henny Penny course we provide the service technician with the YUM! Mobile Forms User Registration link. The service technician will need to register with YUM! in order to activate the YUM! Mobile Forms app. If they didn’t register with YUM! during our course, they can register with YUM!

Henny Penny sends data from Cyber Café to YUM! once per week to update them on who has passed / who is still compliant. If the technician passed our course, it can take up to one week before YUM! notifies them with their user name and password.

  2. YUM! matches Henny Penny data with those technicians who have registered with YUM!. If YUM! Receives data that the service technician passed the course and sees that they have registered with YUM!, they send a username and password to their email. Other countries / YUM! Regions handle this differently.

  3. The service technician will then Access the KFC Form here.

Use your existing Yum! Log in information (usernames are ABC1234 format).

  4. During the inspection, the technician will fill out the form and submit pictures of components as requested. Henny Penny has provided the checklist steps along with instructions for each step to YUM! These instructions accompany each step of the form for the technician to access on their mobile phone or tablet.

  5. Certification tags are required for each pressure fryer that passes inspection. The certification tag is displayed on the pressure fryer as per the location stated in the Fryer Safety Check app and the unique certification tag number gets logged in the app. The certification tag part number is 167160-0XX and can be ordered where you buy Henny Penny parts.

NOTE: The 167160 base part number of the certification tag remains the same each year, but a three digit suffix is changed annually for the inspection year. Also, the expiring year marking and color of the tag will change annually.
