Disconnect fryer from power supply.

Use a cross-tip screwdriver or drill gun with a cross-tip bit to remove 6 screws and then the rear shroud. Set these aside for later use.

Locate the Wi-Fi assembly on the right side, rear side.

Use a 5/16 in. nut driver to remove the 5 nuts and Wi-Fi cover, set aside.

Use a 5/16 in. nut driver to remove 4 nuts and then the Wi-Fi circuit board enclosure. Ensure to keep the antenna wire and all harnesses connected.

Use a cross-tip screwdriver to remove 4 screws and then the antenna-side (right) bracket on the Wi-Fi circuit board enclosure. Retain any screws for reinstallation. The outer face of the enclosure box will slide.

Press the circuit board into the box. Ensure the circuit board is seated in the connector at the opposite end.

If there is a 1/8 in. gap between the end of the circuit board and end of enclosure, discard the antenna-side bracket and continue.

If the circuit board is flush with the end of the enclosure, reinstall the bracket routing the antenna wire through the slot in the bracket without pinching it. Then skip the next step.

The board is fully seated if none of the "gold fingers" are showing at the connector at the opposite end of the enclosure. Sliding the cover out slightly allows visibility to this connector.

Insert the 1/2 in. sheet metal plug into the new antenna-side bracket, so the top is on the outside of the bracket.

Attach the new antenna-side bracket to the enclosure with 4 screws.

Route the antenna wire through the slot in the bracket without pinching it.

Reattach the Wi-Fi circuit board enclosure with 4 nuts.

One at a time use a cross-tip screwdriver to remove the Wi-Fi mounting bracket screws.

Reinstall the new bracket with a lock washer under the head.

Tighten the bracket to 35 in./lbs. Do this for both screws.

Install the new Wi-Fi bracket stablizer onto the two threaded studs on the left side of the Wi-Fi Assembly. The orientation of the bracket will depend on the voltage supply of the unit. 480V uses the longer standooff.

Do not install the nuts at this time

Reattach the Wi-Fi cover with 5 nuts.

Use a drill gun with a cross-tip bit to install the screw with lock washer through the new bracket and into the angle frame member.

Tighten to 35 in./lbs. It may be helpfu to use a drill bit to start a pilot hole prior to installing the screw.

Reattach the rear shroud cover with 6 screws.
-
Reconnect power supply to fryer and unit is ready for use.
