OFX 32X Replacing the Motor Shield

Flat-head screwdriver
Adjustable wrench
Electric drill
Crosstip drill bit

30 minutes to 1 hour.

Use a 1/2 wrench of an adjustable wrench to remove the back two bolts and loosen the front to remove the shield off the motor bracket.

Do not throw away nuts and bolts. Some units may require the lower panel be removed in order to remove the shield. Keep screws.

Place bolts back into holes and tighten till pump is secure.

Align the new bracket over the motor and attach with four screws from kit. Ensure that no part of the bracket is touching the plumbing or motor.

Place warning label on upper left of the shield.
