Installing the Bulk Oil Kit

Only perform this procedure when the unit is cool or severe burns may result.

Preparing the Fryer

1. Turn power switch off.

2. Ensure fryer is cool to the touch before moving.

3. Pull out the fryer and unplug from power source.

    

Removing Rear Cover(s) and Old Plumbing

1. Remove the rear cover screws and the rear cover(s) from the fryer. Place these items to the side for reuse. NOTE: OFG units have two (2) covers, OFE units have only one (1) cover; an OFG unit with one (2) covers is shown in the picture.



2. Locate two (2) nuts on tube and loosen.

3. Remove elbow and straight fitting assembly from block and discard.

Installing New Plumbing

1. Install straight fitting in block.



2. Install diverter valve assembly into place and tighten nut on bottom of tube connecting to the straight fitting in pump.

3. Tighten nut of u-shaped tube that connects to straight fitting in block.

4. Check all nuts in diverter valve assembly to make sure they are tight.



5. Install tube bracket on frame rail using two self-tapping screws.

6. Reinstall rear cover(s) on fryer.

7. Install the male quick disconnect to the manifold attached to the wall behind the fryer.

8. Connect the female end on discard hose to the male end of the quick disconnect.
