DIN Plug Replacement Wiring

Crosstip screwdriver

Unscrew DIN plug from existing gas valve.

Loosen retaining nut on DIN plug.
-
Remove screw in rear of connector.
-
Remove gasket around receptacle.
-
Turn plug around and use a crosstip screwdriver to remove receptacle.
-
Use a crosstip screwdriver to remove wires from receptacle.
-
Pull wires through receptacle body.
-
Remove DIN plug from new safety valve supplied in kit.
-
Insert black wire into bottom left.
-
Insert the white wire into the top left.
-
Insert the green wire into the ground and tighten the screws.
-
Attach wired DIN plug back on to new safety valve.

To avoid electrical shock or property damage, move the power switch to OFF and disconnect power. |
