Crosstip screwdriver
Flat head screwdriver

Drain oil from unit.
-
Loosen both spreader bar assemblies on the front side of the heat elements.

Loosen upper and lower high limit clamps.
-
Use a flat head screwdriver to gently spread elements.
-
Slide spreader assembly and high limit spacer toward pot wall slightly.
-
Position high limit brackets such that the end of the probes protrude .125 in. (3.2 nm) past the high limit clamp.

Re-tighten clamps.

Slide spread assembly and high limit spacer toward vat interior until the high limit spacer contacts the high limit clamp.
-
Tighten spreader assemblies, ensure the heating elements are aligned.
-
Unit is now ready for operation.
