    To avoid electrical shock or property damage, move the power switch to OFF and disconnect power.

  1. Disconnect power to the unit.

  2. Remove the control panel assembly.

  3. Remove the brackets.

  4. Remove the high voltage shield.

  5. Line the front hole of the reay up with the small hole closest to the front of the fryer.

  6. Mark where the black hole needs to be drilled.

  7. Drill a hole using a 5/32 in. drill bit.

  8. Mount relay using screws from the kit.

  9. Cut all wire ties.

  10. Find the pump wires M1-1 and M2-1 and measure 12" from the connector and cut the pump wires.

  11. Relabel the cut wires to the connector with labels from the kit.

  12. Terminate wires with EC02-002 provided in the kit.

  13. Connect the MR1 terminal to the back right pin of the relay and the MR2 terminal to the front right pin of the relay.

  14. Terminate the cut M1-1 wire to the units using a 2-pin lever nut. On the other side of the lever nut, attach one of the harnesses provided int he kit.

  15. Connect the terminal to the back let pin of the relay.

  16. Strip the M2-1 wire to the unit.

  17. Find the power wires L1 and N.

  18. For L1 measure 12 in. from the connector and strip both ends. Attach back together with a 3-pin lever nut.

  19. Relabel the cut wire to the connector with labels provided.

  20. Attach the other harness provided in the kit to the same lever nut and plug harness to the front left pin of the relay.

  21. For neutral wires (N) do the same, relabel the cut wire to the connector N to N-1 with labels provided in kit.

  22. Add the M2-1 wire from the unit to the lever nut instead of a separate harness.

  23. Tie wires back together and replace the high voltage shield, brackets and control panel assembly.

  24. Installation is complete.
